Hwan,
As the technician of the crew, I will answer to you.
If you want to succeed in learning EC you will have to adapt your equipment. EC style is based on smooth and flexible movements that need smooth and flexible equipment.
So is true with the board (softer than usual race boards), boots and binding.

Today, the F2 race titanium is the only binding that matches our technique without any need of modification or customisation.
I personnaly use a Bomber TD2 that is superior to the F2 but needs a lot heavy customisation.

Intec stepin bindings with their total stiffness to the boots are too stiff and provide too much vibrations for proper extremecarving.

Best regards

Jacques

Hi Nils, I saw Frank's message in your website that many Swoards are sent on the 8 November and I hope my board is in the air now. For the meantime, I have a question regarding binding. I have been through the many comments in the forum but I am still confused. I would appreciate your clear advise. Normal vs. Step-in Bindings: Generally I get the feeling that normal binding is recommended for EC not step-in. Correct? F2 vs. Catek Bindings: Many EC riders prefer F2 Race Intec (Is it the same as F2 Titan Race?) over Catek. Correct? Perhaps they are basic silly questions but I am in the process of learning EC. Best Regards, Hwan
